How did I, who this time last year, incidently was unsure how to send an attachment with an email and would ask questions about how to open an attachment sent to me, manage to get to this sought after position.?

How did I, a tech dummie, achieve something that keeps thousands employed in full time jobs within the search engine optimisation field, manage to get to this sought after position?

I was rather shocked when I found my website sitting at number 1 in Google. I checked Yahoo, and there it was too, MSN, I don't believe it!

You may now be thinking ,well if this tech dummie did it then, why not me?

You may also be thinking, "wait a minute, you can buy your way to the top of the search engines, can't you?"

Yes, you probably can but I did not spend my way to the top.

I achieved number one place in Google, Yahoo, MSN and other search engines without:

  Paying someone else to do the hard work

  Paying to have the site advertised at the top

  Paying for pay per click to fight for the best keywords

I did it on my own. I just used the information that I had gathered, learned and utilised it. Information that had worked for others and it has now worked for me.
